About me

Hi, I am Mallika – the moist air needed to remove the tint

This blog was born out of late-night rants, unfiltered thoughts, and a deep urge to question everything we’re told — from beauty standards to societal expectations. I’m not here to preach perfection. I’m here to talk about the real stuff — the skincare obsession, beauty standards, the cultural contradictions we quietly accept, the mindset shifts we need but never talk about, and the generational truths we’re only now starting to uncover.

As a self-employed writer navigating adulthood, marriage, wellness, and identity, I started Tinted Truths as a space to speak honestly. No filters, no fluff — just grounded advice, researched rants, and reflections that (hopefully) make you pause and say, “Yes, I feel that too.” Whether you’re here for a skincare fix, a reality check, or just some relatable chaos — welcome to Tinted Truths. Let’s wipe away the tint together.

Just in case you’re curious, here’s a little more about me — I’m a 28-year-old Sikh Punjabi woman, married to a Hindu Malyali man. And that’s the first barrier we’ve crossed.
I’ve navigated careers in marketing, e-commerce, and consulting, and now I call Kochi home, where I live with my husband and in-laws. Talk about a mix of cultures and experiences, right?
